Iroquois was happy to participate in the 18th Annual WNY Construction Career Days on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Iroquois was able to donate rebar tying equipment and redi-mix concrete to allow everyone to get hands on experience performing the fantastic work we do every day.

Iroquois and Oneida shared a table to discuss directly with the next generation of talent that is interested in learning about working in the Building Trades.

Thank you to Operating Engineers Local 17 for hosting the event and to all the other Locals and and Organizations for participating in such a great event!

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Tom and Arnie traveled across NYS to visit some projects and visit with some customers down state. It's always fun to meet new people and see some of our team members that work farther away from the home office. It's also good to see how nice the finished product is behind a machine.

On Monday we brought the design team to a bridge deck on the LaSalle Expressway. We showed them how we use their tying tools. We discussed how they could make improvements to help us be more efficient. They shared with us some of their designs for new and upcoming tools.
It's always nice be an expert in the industry and asked for input on how to improve tools from a large manufacturer.

Thankful that the rain held out for the annual Iroquois and Oneida company picnic at the shelter.
Always great to see the families of our great team members. We had a good time and congratulations to the prizes winners.

Everyone who attended had a great time last night at Big Truck Night. Iroquois represented with 5 trucks. Thank you everyone that raced and showed up to support the team!

Iroquois is always proud to support the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). This year we were excited to announce the Nicole Szuba Memorial Scholarship in honor our long-time cherished co-worker who passed away last year after a battle with cancer. The scholarship was awarded this year to Celia Morey. We are also proud that Jenna Zawodzinski was elected to the NAWIC Board of Directors.
