We finally completed this job yesterday , 4 days behind schedule due to using waybase on 3/8" thick flooring that was rather thin, dry time was much longer than anticipated. Thankfully the homeowners were understandable very kind about the delay. Not all jobs go as planned and this is a perfect example. I was apprehensive about using waterbase and did it anyway. Still learning lessons 20 years in. When working with 3/8 t@g that is thin waterbase can cause numerous issues.

Today's job, rather thin 3/8 t&g oak
Only using NEW-ish 220volt PLANETARY SANDER!
Using this ensures only the bare minimum will be removed when sanding down to bare wood. Takes longer , but dead flat floors and no worrying about thin t&g.
