Burnt wiring discovered after fixture removal in Winfield, IL
What started as a simple light fixture replacement turned into a safety repair after the customer removed the original fixture and discovered severely overheated wiring hidden inside the ceiling box. All damaged conductors were replaced, connections were rebuilt, and a new LED fixture was installed.

Once the wall was opened, we found hidden junction boxes, old BX wiring, and multiple modifications that needed attention before any new work could be done safely.

What looked like a simple outlet addition turned into a complete cleanup and reorganization of the wiring for the bathroom remodel.

👉 Because the breaker usually isn’t the problem
It’s doing its job — protecting the circuit
What’s actually causing the tripping: • overloaded circuit
• loose or overheating connection
• bad outlet / device
• wiring done incorrectly
👉 Replace the breaker = it will still trip
