🔥 ONE REFERRAL. THREE PROJECTS. AND A LITTLE FATHER-AND-SON TEAMWORK! 🐐💪

Another custom project completed in Northwest Hills | Austin, Texas!

One of the things I appreciate most about owning The GOAT Fence Co. is watching how one opportunity can turn into lasting relationships and continued trust.

A few weeks ago, a local contractor who discovered our work through TikTok hired us to replace the two front fence sections and gates at his personal home.

After seeing the finished product, he immediately referred us to his in-laws, who live in the same Northwest Hills neighborhood.

That’s when I had the pleasure of meeting his mother-in-law, Terri.

We replaced both front sections of her fence with beautiful custom-built horizontal cedar shadowbox fencing and matching gates.

Terri was so pleased with the finished product that she asked us to come back and tackle another project—this time, her pool equipment enclosure.

HERE’S WHAT WE DID:

✔️ Demolished and removed the old pool equipment enclosure.

✔️ Completely reframed and rebuilt the enclosure using cedar.

✔️ Installed horizontal cedar boards in a shadowbox pattern to complement the fencing we previously installed.

✔️ Personally designed and custom-built a set of double cedar gates to provide convenient access to the pool equipment while maintaining a consistent appearance.

✔️ Created a clean, coordinated look that blends with the surrounding property.

The result is a refreshed pool equipment enclosure with functional double-gate access and a beautiful custom finish.

BUT THIS PROJECT WAS A LITTLE MORE SPECIAL TO ME. ❤️

This past Sunday, instead of bringing out the entire crew, my son Cadence and I completed this project together.

As a father and business owner, there’s something incredibly rewarding about having your son beside you, working with his hands, learning the trade, and seeing the results of a job well done.

I’ve spent years building fences, building a business, and building relationships throughout our community. But opportunities like this remind me that some of the most important things we’re building aren’t made out of cedar and metal.

We’re building memories, character, work ethic, and a legacy that goes far beyond the fence line.

And that’s something no paycheck can replace.

🔥 400 FEET OF FENCING. TWO NEIGHBORS. ONE WEEKEND. ANOTHER PROJECT COMPLETED IN GARLIC CREEK! 🐐💪

This past Friday and Saturday, The GOAT Fence Co. had the opportunity to complete a major fence replacement project for two neighboring homeowners right here in Garlic Creek, Buda, Texas.

And the story behind this project is just as rewarding as the finished product!

IT ALL STARTED WITH A REFERRAL! 🙌

My good friend Joey Bramwell, who owns several DoubleDave’s Pizza franchises, reached out and referred me to his neighbor across the street, JP Ebert.

After meeting with JP and getting his project lined up, another opportunity presented itself.

His neighbor behind him, Mike Chandler, decided it was time to replace his entire fence as well.

And here’s something that made this project even more meaningful to me: Mike is a fellow United States Marine veteran! 🇺🇸

As someone who proudly served in the Marine Corps myself, there’s always something special about getting the opportunity to work with another Marine.

What started as one project quickly grew into approximately 400 linear feet of new cedar privacy fencing across two properties!

HERE’S WHAT WE INSTALLED:

✔️ 400 total linear feet of fencing

✔️ 6-foot-tall cedar privacy pickets

✔️ Three-rail framing for added strength and support

✔️ Metal posts for durability and longevity

✔️ Custom-built gates for both homeowners

✔️ Complete demolition and removal of the old fencing

AND HERE’S HOW WE GOT IT DONE:

🔨 FRIDAY: Our crew tackled the demolition, removed the old fencing, dug the post holes, and installed the new metal posts.

🔨 SATURDAY: We returned to install the brackets, horizontal runners, cedar pickets, and custom-built gates, completing both projects.

400 FEET COMPLETED IN TWO DAYS! 💪

But this project wasn’t just about improving the appearance of these homes.

Both properties have dogs, and the existing fences had deteriorated to the point where the dogs were finding ways to get through.

That’s not just inconvenient—it creates a real concern for the safety of the pets and the families living there.

A properly constructed privacy fence provides more than curb appeal. It helps create a safer, more secure environment where families can enjoy their backyards and their pets can stay where they belong. 🐕🏡

And that’s exactly what we set out to accomplish!

Both homeowners were extremely pleased with the finished product and shared some wonderful compliments about our work.

🏡 ANOTHER CUSTOM FENCE TRANSFORMATION COMPLETED IN BUDA, TEXAS! 🐐💪

This project was a little different from your typical fence replacement, and that’s exactly what made it special!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Andrew and Stephanie Delph, owners of The Windshield MD, a local windshield repair and replacement business right here in Buda.

Stephanie came across one of our posts on Facebook and reached out about a project they had been wanting to complete at their home.

After receiving approval from their HOA, they trusted The GOAT Fence Co. to bring their vision to life.

THE PROJECT:

Their existing front fence was approximately 10 feet wide with a single gate. They wanted to relocate that section approximately 8 feet farther back and create an additional enclosed storage area for their business.

The goal was to provide a designated space where their employees could drop off windshields and materials while keeping everything organized and separated from the rest of the property.

Here’s what we accomplished:

✔️ Demolished and removed the existing front fence section.

✔️ Relocated and rebuilt the 10-foot front section approximately 8 feet back, complete with a single gate.

✔️ Installed 3-rail cedar privacy fencing with metal posts for strength and durability.

✔️ Extended additional fence sections approximately 10 feet to create a separate enclosed storage area with its own single-gate access.

✔️ Completely rebuilt their approximately 5-foot-tall trash and recycling bin enclosure, featuring a custom-built single gate to keep their bins neatly concealed.

The result? A cleaner, more organized property with additional privacy, improved functionality, and a dedicated storage area designed around their business needs.

But what made this project especially rewarding was the response we received afterward.

Andrew and Stephanie were absolutely thrilled with the finished product and took the time to leave us an incredible 5-STAR REVIEW on Facebook! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Another Northwest Hills project completed — and this one came directly from the job we finished right down the street. 🙌

Last weekend, The GOAT Fence Co. completed a project for a local contractor who originally discovered our work through TikTok and hired us to upgrade the fencing and gates at his personal home.

After we finished, I sent him photos while he was out of town. He liked the finished product enough that he immediately asked me to head over to his in-laws’ home in the same Northwest Hills neighborhood.

That introduction led us to Terri, who was an absolute pleasure to meet and work with.

The goal here wasn’t to change the character of the property. Their existing backyard already had a beautiful horizontal shadowbox design, so we custom-built the two new front sections to complement and tie into that existing style.

We rebuilt both sides using cedar and metal posts and incorporated two custom gate entrances.

What I really like about this project are the details—the horizontal shadowbox pattern, cedar trim around the posts and gates, custom diagonal gate bracing, and contrasting black hardware. Everything works together with the stone exterior and existing fencing to make the new sections look like they belong there.

And the best part?

One TikTok video introduced us to a contractor.
That contractor trusted us with his own home.
Doing his job right led him to trust us with his family’s home.

That’s the kind of growth we’re proud of.

Terri was extremely happy with the finished product and has already asked us to look at some additional restoration and improvement work around the property.

I build fences for a living… but that’s not really what I’m building.

I’m building something my son can look back on one day and be proud of.

I’m building a name that means something.

A reputation built on hard work, keeping your word, treating people right, and doing the job the way you said you would—even when nobody is watching.

Eight years in the United States Marine Corps taught me about discipline, commitment, and taking care of the people beside you. Being a father taught me something even greater: somebody is always watching the example you set.

That’s one of the biggest reasons The G.O.A.T. Fence Co. means so much to me.

My son has watched me work. He’s worked beside me. He’s seen the long days, the setbacks, the wins, and the times when quitting would’ve been easier.

And hopefully, somewhere along the way, he learns that success isn’t just about how much money you make.

It’s about your name.
Your word.
Your work ethic.
How you treat people.
And what you leave behind when your time is done.

Every time a family trusts us with their home, I understand that they’re trusting us with something they worked hard for too. We don’t take that lightly.

So yes, we build fences.

Another custom fence upgrade completed in Northwest Hills | Austin, TX

This project is a good example of how you don’t need hundreds of feet of fencing to completely change the look and functionality of a property.

We replaced both front fence sections of this home. One side previously had an approximately 8-foot section with a single 3½-foot gate, while the opposite side had no gate access at all.

Instead of going back with the traditional vertical cedar design, we gave the front of the property a more modern look with horizontal cedar privacy fencing and custom-built gates.

✔️ Horizontal cedar privacy fencing
✔️ Custom cedar gate replacing the original entrance
✔️ Second custom gate added on the opposite side
✔️ Backyard access from BOTH sides of the home
✔️ Clean, modern curb appeal

And there’s a pretty cool story behind how this project came to us.

The homeowner is a contractor himself who found The GOAT Fence Co. through our TikTok videos. After seeing some of our previous projects, he reached out and trusted us to handle the work at his own personal home.

Another project completed in Shady Hollow | Austin, TX

This one is a great example of how even a smaller fence project can make a BIG difference in the overall appearance of a property.

A few weeks ago, we built this 25-foot cedar fence with a double-gate entry for one of our longtime repeat customers. She’s a real estate investor with multiple properties, and we’ve had the opportunity to help her with fencing at several of them over the years.

This time, she trusted us with her personal home.

After completing the fence, she had us return a couple of weeks later to apply a water-based exterior stain. She wanted a color that would complement the existing trim on the house, and the finished combination came together beautifully.

Fresh cedar already looks great—but adding the right stain can completely change the finished appearance while also helping protect the wood from the Central Texas elements.

We’re grateful for customers who continue calling us back, whether it’s for their investment properties, rental properties, or eventually their own homes. That continued trust means a lot to a small local business.

Production update from Wood Creek in Wimberley, TX

We’re making solid progress on this decorative metal fence and railing project out in the hill country.

One challenge out here in Wimberley is the rocky terrain, so the crew has been putting the jackhammer to work to get these post holes dug properly.

This project includes:
✔️ Replacing existing hog panel fencing with black powder-coated decorative metal fencing
✔️ Upgrading the chicken run with puppy paneling to help keep smaller chickens secure
✔️ Decorative stair railings
✔️ Deck panel replacement with matching black powder-coated metal panels

Today’s footage shows the crew in the middle of production—setting posts, working through rock, and installing panels around the chicken run area.

Still more to go, but it’s coming together nicely and we’re excited to show the finished result soon.

Fence project completed in Whispering Hollow (Buda, TX)

This was a full fence replacement for two neighboring properties, built with both function and connection in mind.

Project features:
✔️ Metal posts for long-term durability
✔️ 3-rail cedar privacy fence
✔️ Partial good neighbor style + vertical privacy
✔️ Shark Gate system on all gates for added strength and longevity

One of the highlights of this project was installing a custom gate between the two properties, allowing the neighbors—who are close friends and whose kids play together—to easily access each other’s yards.
