Sometimes you gotta just cover up an ugly Hardwood floor. This floor had lots of urine stains and the homeowner didn’t want to fix it. Dark urine spots don’t sand out. So another option was to go over the top. This is a Home Depot Lifeproof Sterling Oak LVP 30mil wear layer with Finished Elegance base shoe. Turned out nice.

Using Glitsa Multikote to coat this floor.

Little bit of a job I’m doing. Here I used Wakol PU280 moisture barrier on the subfloor. Customer said there’s water under the crawlspace. So just to go the extra mile I went for this plus aqua bar on top. Customer has installed drains and a pump in the crawl but just to be on the safe side I chose this. 2 1/4 Select Red Oak here. A solid tread and a few risers. Lace into the kitchen. Everything is going good. Sand and finish coming soon.

Ai is getting so good. It made me holding the wrong type of nailer but I still like this. How funny!
