What more can you ask for😍

We’ve been loving the Midnight Crunch lettuce variety from It has great flavor, heat resistant and beautiful! One of our new favorites this year

And a few new basil varieties we’re trying from they are growing like crazy in the greenhouse🪴

Of course the homemade bread is the star of the show though. Chase was inspired by and has been making sourdough miche rolls🥖🥬🥪🌿

Life on the farm lately💛

We have been spending all our free time in the greenhouse, garden and going on walks to greet all the critters we share our home with. Tomatoes, beans, flowers and kale are all doing amazing. Some of the squash is struggling but it’ll hopefully bounce back.

There’s a family of owls that we’ve been seeing (and hearing!) everyday. Also a herd of elk and deer that we’ve been seeing often.

I got a haircut. Long hair + well water + 80 degrees does not go together. I’m calling it the “farm chop”.

Goose is living his best life as usual. He recently learned how to swim in the pond and he loves to chase the bull frogs. Our house will never be clean again but it’s worth it.

Summer solstice is almost here and you can feel it in the air. The days are long and everything is growing like crazy. I love the buzz of peak summer.☀️
