🪨 Concrete Driveway & Landscape Transformation in Chenal! 🏡

We’re excited to share this recently completed project at a beautiful home in Chenal! The homeowner wanted to add a new roundabout driveway, and our team handled the project from start to finish — from permitting and excavation all the way through the final landscaping. 🛠️

✨ Project Highlights:

🚜 Site Preparation: After completing the necessary city permitting and inspections, we excavated the new driveway area and installed a properly compacted base to prepare for concrete.

💡 Planning for the Future: Before pouring the driveway, we installed 2” conduit underneath the concrete for future sprinkler lines and landscape lighting. Taking care of these details beforehand makes future improvements much easier and prevents the need to bore underneath or cut into finished concrete later. We believe a quality project means thinking about what the property may need tomorrow — not just what it needs today.

🏡 Roundabout Driveway: We formed and poured the new concrete roundabout driveway and finished it with a clean broom finish.

🧱 Retaining Wall & Steps: Our team also installed a new concrete retaining wall along with concrete steps that tie into the home’s existing steps.

🌱 Finishing Touches: Once the concrete work was complete, we hauled in several loads of topsoil, graded the disturbed areas, and installed beautiful Zeon Zoysia sod to bring the entire project together.

🌸 Complete Flower Bed Transformation! 🌿✨

This flower bed had become severely overgrown and difficult to maintain, so we completely transformed the space into a clean, colorful, low-maintenance landscape the homeowner can enjoy for years to come.

🏡 Wrought Iron + Privacy Fence + Retaining Wall Extension! ✨🌲

This project completely transformed the look and functionality of this backyard while preserving one of the homeowner’s favorite features—the beautiful wooded view behind the property.

The goal was to create privacy and security where needed without making the backyard feel closed in, and the final result came together seamlessly.

🌿 Simple Upgrade — Huge Difference! ✨🏡

Sometimes the smaller projects make the biggest visual impact, and this one completely freshened up the front of this home with a clean, upgraded landscape edge and a little attention to detail.

Here’s what we did:

🪨 Upgraded the Landscape Edging – Removed the basic builder-grade metal edging and replaced it with Pavestone Terrain Tiered Block edging for a much cleaner, more polished appearance.

📐 Defined Flower Bed Lines – The new block edging creates stronger definition between the lawn and landscape beds while adding texture, depth, and curb appeal to the property.

✂️ Shrub Trimming & Cleanup – Trimmed and shaped the existing shrubs to restore a neat, maintained appearance.

⬛ Fresh Black Mulch Installation – Added fresh black mulch to tie everything together and give the landscape a crisp, finished look.

Another drainage nightmare fixed the right way. 💪

This shop was dealing with multiple water issues caused by a failing builder-grade concrete slab that simply wasn’t installed with enough fall. During heavy rain, surface water would collect against the building and make its way directly into the shop.

To solve the problem permanently, we completely removed the existing slab and started from the ground up.

✔️ Installed a brand new concrete patio with a proper 3” fall away from the structure
✔️ Added a 20-foot commercial channel drain across the front of the shop to capture and redirect all surface water before it ever has a chance to enter the building
✔️ Installed a full French drain system across the front of the concrete to address groundwater and subsurface saturation
✔️ Identified an underground water flow path running through the property and installed a French drain system designed to intercept, carry, and reroute that underground water before it could saturate the area around the shop

This project wasn’t just about pouring concrete — it was about engineering a complete drainage solution that protects the structure long-term and eliminates both surface water and groundwater problems.

The end result is a clean new patio, proper water management, and a system designed to perform during Arkansas downpours for years to come. 🌧️➡️
