Two identical houses. One August electric bill each. Guess which one had spray foam?
A fellow spray foam contractor ran a real side-by-side test: two houses, exactly the same size — one spray foam, one fiberglass.
Fiberglass house: $278.42 for August, thermostat at 70 degrees.
Foam house: $120.11, thermostat at 68 degrees — with two MORE people living in it.
Less than half the bill. About $158 saved in a single month.
That is why about half of Rock-Crete's work is converting existing attics to sealed spray foam — a full 5.5 to 6 inches across the deck, attic temps in the low 80s instead of 150 degrees, and an AC that is not fighting all day.
