If you’ve been quoted an outrageous price for an HVAC repair and aren’t sure it’s necessary, it’s always worth getting a second opinion.

A recent customer was quoted over $2,000 to replace a supposedly leaking condenser coil. After performing my own inspection, I found no refrigerant leaks, and the system was still fully charged.

The actual problem? A stuck-closed damper motor.
