Need proof that small changes can have a big impact? This small bath in Bryan is getting a big facelift compliments of this classic penny-tile. The homeowner wanted to make the space feel bigger so instead of going back with a cabinet, a pedestal sink will be installed in its place tomorrow. Almost done!

This custom bookshelf is turning out beautifully and it needs to be shared. I’ll post more pictures as I get windows trimmed out, but I’m already proud of this one.

I had so much fun the first time I built this corner cabinet a second time! It’s never fun to make a mistake, but when I do I correct and hopefully learn something in the process.

Today we upgraded our table saw in the shop to a SawStop. For anyone who doesn’t know this saw has a brake which automatically stops the blade if your skin makes contact with it while operating. I have used a table saw professionally for the last 8-1/2 years and have had zero accidents, but this gives me peace of mind for both myself and any Boxwood employees.

Demo day on a bathroom remodel in College Station. The client opted to GC their project, but still hired us for the demo and framing. We always take precautions to protect your home when we demo regardless of if we are responsible for a small portion of the remodel or all of it.

We finished up this custom bed and delivered/assembled it this week. The customer asked it to be made in parts to be assembled on site. If they ever move they can take this bed and all the storage with them! Shout out to my carpenters assistant, Aidan, for sticking with it as we troubleshooted some frustrating drawer slides.

In my happy place today at the shop. I am working on some live-edge walnut shelves and a repair job that holds sentimental value to the client. Sometimes projects keep the lights on and sometimes projects light you up. Today I get to do both.

Did you know we build our own custom cabinets? This is honestly one of my parts of this work. I love the details that separate custom from factory made. I enjoy designing cabinets that meet the needs of the homeowner. I love the feeling of seeing an empty room take space as the cabinets go in. Each facet of the process is satisfying in its own way. If you have a cabinet project from a small vanity to an entire kitchen of cabinets contact us! We would love to help you upgrade your cabinetry.
