We’re incredibly grateful to have been part of the Postsecondary Exploration Fair alongside 98 amazing vendors dedicated to supporting the future of our youth.

Buildings By Design was honored to connect with students from 16 rural schools and help introduce the many opportunities available within the construction and design industry. Seeing students engaged, asking questions, and exploring future career paths was truly inspiring.

A huge thank you to the Postsecondary Exploration Fair Team for organizing such an impactful event and creating opportunities for students to discover what’s possible after high school. Knowing that over 550 students participated - and that so many left feeling more confident about their future - makes this event incredibly meaningful.

At Buildings By Design, we believe investing in the next generation matters. We’re proud to support programs that encourage students to dream bigger, explore hands-on careers, and see the value of skilled trades and design professions.

We’re already looking forward to next year!

🏇✨ Derby Day done the BBD way! ✨🏇

Buildings By Design was proud to be represented by Brad Wolf in the Derby Race festivities while supporting an incredible cause, helping raise funds for the Morgan County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC)!

From the photo booth fun to the inflatable horse races, the event was packed with laughter, community spirit, and friendly competition. Events like these are a great reminder that strong communities are built through connection, collaboration, and showing up for one another.

We’re honored to support organizations like MCEDC that work hard to strengthen local business, economic growth, and opportunities throughout Morgan County.

🚧 Falcon Sheriff Substation March/April Progress Update 🚧

Big things are happening out at the Falcon Sheriff Substation, and the transformation over the past couple of months has been incredible to watch!

Here’s a snapshot of what’s been accomplished:
🔹 Exterior sheathing and weather barrier installation is well underway, giving the building its defined shape
🔹 Structural steel and canopy framing are in place, adding both function and visual impact
🔹 Interior framing is progressing across multiple areas, laying out key rooms and operational spaces
🔹 Electrical and mechanical rough-ins are actively being installed overhead and within walls
🔹 Insulation and drywall have begun in select areas, bringing us one step closer to finished interiors
🔹 Site work continues, including concrete pours and underground utility prep

This phase is where vision really starts turning into reality. You can now walk the space and truly feel how this facility will serve the community.

At Buildings By Design, we take pride in delivering projects that are not only built to last, but built with purpose. This substation will play a critical role in supporting local law enforcement and enhancing community safety.

This project marks a major step forward, bringing two Sterling locations together under one roof to create a more seamless, efficient, and technology-forward experience for their members. It’s all about improving service while investing in the future of the community.

As the General Contractor, Buildings By Design is proud to partner on a project that blends innovation with purpose. This new facility is designed to support Premier Farm Credit’s continued commitment to excellence while strengthening their presence in the region.

🚧 Project Progress Update: Bringing Vision to Life 🚧

Big things are happening on-site at Shaw Creek, and we’re excited to share the latest progress!

From structural stonework and custom masonry to clean concrete pours and detailed landscape installation, this project is really starting to take shape. Our team has been hard at work ensuring every element, from pathways to façade finishes, is built with precision, durability, and design in mind.

✨ What’s been happening:
• Exterior stonework installation is well underway
• Concrete walkways and curbs are poured and taking form
• Custom block wall features are coming together beautifully
• Landscaping and irrigation systems are in progress
• Site grading and finishing touches are moving forward

Every phase brings us closer to delivering a space that blends functionality with standout design.
