The family camp is leveling up! ⬆️

Located just steps from Casco Bay, this family cottage is in the middle of a total overhaul. Over the past few months, the existing structure was taken down, and the new cottage has been framed, roofed, and sided on the original footprint.

The new construction, designed by Jessie Carroll Architect, LLC, places an emphasis on high-efficiency living, keeping the space comfortable year-round at minimal cost. The best part? Stunning water views of their peaceful cove.

We don’t think our crew will be ready to say good-bye to this spot when the work is complete!

It must be almost raising time! 🪵

Our yard is stacked wall to wall with timbers, cut, labeled, and ready to go. Every piece knows exactly where it’s going once the crane shows up.

This pile will soon become a boat barn, just in time to tuck the boat away for the winter. Stay tuned to see it all come together!

We’ve been quiet here lately, but we’ve been busy! Our new homes crew has had a productive summer framing this norelius studio designed home. Just last week, we finished installing these big, beautiful windows. 😍

Once complete, this home will feature single-floor living designed for aging in place, while still offering plenty of space for family visits. It also includes an expansive artist’s studio, finally giving the homeowner a dedicated creative space at home.

We’re super pleased with the progress to date and we look forward to sharing more as it comes together!

This one was special. We volunteered in Vermont this past weekend raising a timber frame for 's 40th anniversary. The project brought together students from who cut a beautiful compound roof assembly, and our team, who supplied and cut the white oak posts and curved braces.

But the real highlight? Three generations on site (four if you count the dog!). Ben's mom June has been connected to the UVLT for decades, and she was there alongside Ben and Liam to see it go up. Some raises are just jobs. This one was a gift.

Congratulations to the Upper Valley Land Trust on 40 years.

This one was all hands on deck for the past two weeks. And the result? One seriously impressive barn. 🙌

We just finished raising this beauty for our friends at , and we couldn't be more proud of how it came together. The scale and complexity of this frame kept things interesting every single day, and that's exactly the kind of challenge we love showing up for. A big thanks to for the lift.

The finished barn will feature boat and car storage on the first floor, plus a fully finished rec space upstairs — built for family memories for years to come. We're thrilled to hand this frame over and already can't wait to come back to see the final product!

Here's to the crew! Well earned. 🍺🏆

We may be waiting on Mother Nature to get the memo that it's spring, but we’ve still got porch days on the mind 🌿☀️

This one’s the perfect little escape, featuring timbers and peaceful views out over Maquoit Bay. Just add coffee (or a glass of something cold) and you’re set.
