Day-to-Day Role:

We are currently seeking a Box Truck Delivery Driver at our Brownsburg, IN lumber yard.

Driver responsibilities include:

Load, secure, and deliver material
Daily inspections of delivery vehicles per DOT requirements
Maintain all required paperwork
Check load for accuracy
Communicate clearly and effectively with employees, management, and customers
Daily yard responsibilities
Requirements:

Clean driving record a must
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Hardworking, Responsible, Motivated Individual
Post offer drug test and background check required
Special Requirements

Detailed and accurate, good communicator and team player, and the willingness to take on responsibilities, challenges and additional duties as required will make you successful.

Ability to learn a Piggy Back or Princeton
Clean driving record a must

Day-to-Day Role:

Operates a forklift to lift, load, or move material. Inspects and maintains forklift equipment as needed.

- Loads and unloads materials on trucks
Verifies proper paperwork has been completed
- Completes daily forklift maintenance inspection logs
- Stocks incoming and returned materials
- Informs Yard Supervisor, Salesman, or - Inventory Manager of low or depleted stock
- Assist customers with pick-up orders or returns

Skills

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions and procedures
- Ability add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Team player, strong communicator and advanced interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and use tape measure
- Operate a fork lift
