Twelve years ago, we started our business in the middle of a recession. As we stepped into the unknown on that first day, our family prayed together, asking God to put hot dogs on the dinner table. We never fathomed God would provide way more than hot dogs for so many other families within our Mishler Plumbing team, the community, and worldwide- in addition to ours! We never imagined coming this far and being so successful the entire way!
We are so thankful for our children, who were our biggest cheerleaders. Each one helped in so many ways throughout the twelve years, from painting and cleaning the shop to plumbing in the field, assisting in the office, and removing decals from old worn, out vans. We know it wasn't always their favorite work, but it was much appreciated!
We also couldn't have asked for a better Mishler Plumbing team- each one brought so much value and unique qualities that set our company apart from the rest. We are incredibly grateful for their loyalty, integrity, hard work, love for our customers, and friendships.
We are also grateful for the love and support of our family, friends, and the community we have served throughout the years! It was a pleasure getting to know so many of you and helping in your times of need. From day one of opening until our closing day, we had more work than we could handle because of you all! Thank you!
We've grown so much spiritually over the years as we were dependent upon God to provide, direct, and bless our steps as business owners. We learned to rely on Him in all decisions, big and small- and He's always been there to guide us. With that being said, over the past couple of years, Nate and I have been very prayerful about what direction to take Mishler Plumbing as Nate's health condition has changed. In addition, he's felt a new calling upon his heart for ministering to other leaders in the community as he attends seminary school. Knowing that our decision would affect the lives of our team members, we wanted to make sure we were hearing God clearly.
As a result, God began orchestrating the details; He presented an excellent transition for our Mishler Plumbing team, the most critical piece as we pursued our options. We wanted to set them all up for success because they had led us to ours. We knew it was time to make the most challenging business decision yet; we decided to sell the business we raised from infancy to twelve years.
Last week, we sold Mishler Plumbing Services to Peterman Brothers. We chose Peterman Brothers because they could offer our entire team opportunities for a bright future. Our priority was taking care of the very people who so kindly, diligently, and faithfully worked for us over the past twelve years. We are so blessed that God allowed us to call them family for so many years. Our prayers are that God will continue to bless each of their families as they begin their new journeys. We praise God for allowing us to have the BEST plumbing team around!
We praise God and give Him glory for every moment He allowed us to own Mishler Plumbing Services!
Thank you, all, for an incredible twelve years!
With the deepest gratitude and love,
Nate and Sybil Mishler
