Water damage doesn't always stop at the surface!
On this bathroom project, water running off the bathtub had caused damage to the floor, particularly around the corners.
Once I started removing the old flooring, the extent of the damage became more apparent.
After removing the damaged materials, I installed new framing and blocking, rebuilt the subfloor, and finished the project with a new tile floor.
It's a good example of why addressing what's underneath the flooring is just as important as the finished surface.
