We most often recommend James Hardie lap siding for mountain and foothills properties, and this garage is a good example of why.

Rotted, cracked, or damaged siding only gets worse with time. This was a one-wall repair on a north-facing elevation — the side that stays shaded, holds moisture the longest, and shows damage first. Torn down to the sheathing, wrapped, and rebuilt so it holds up through whatever winter brings.

Not every house needs a full replacement, and not every siding company will do repairs. We will. If one wall is the problem, that's the wall we fix.

Full LP SmartSide replacement in Westminster.

The original siding was done — swelling at the seams, chalking, and patched in more than one spot. Once it starts holding moisture like that, paint isn't a fix.

Here's what went on the house:

LP SmartSide engineered wood siding and trim, treated for moisture, fungal decay, and termites. It carries a 50-year limited warranty from LP.

Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint over the whole exterior — siding, trim, and fascia.

New seamless aluminum gutters and downspouts, painted to match.

The homeowners went with a lighter body and dark trim. Cleaner, more modern than what was there, and it holds up better in Colorado sun than the old finish did.

From tear-off to final walkthrough, the crew kept the site clean, and the homeowners knew what was happening on their house each day.

Recently completed in Broomfield — a full roof replacement and a real upgrade in safety.
Wood-shake roofs are among the biggest fire risks a Colorado home can pose. This one still had its original shake: dried out, combustible, and exactly the kind of fuel you don't want over your head on the Front Range.
We tore it down to the deck and replaced it with Owens Corning Duration FLEX — a Class 4 impact-resistant shingle with a Class A fire rating. Better protection against hail and fire in one upgrade.
