Here's a look back at a project we fabricated and installed for the Littleton Village residential development. The leaf canopy sculptures were featured on the cover of a national visual communications magazine and the project won a national design award. It was designed by Denver's Norris Design, with input from our industrial designers and fabricators. It's located in a park just off S. Logan Street and E. Dry Creek Rd. in Littleton. The crew at BSC Signs had an interesting job this week!

Our BSC Signs installation crew got quite a surprise this week! Their assignment was to replace a faded sign face high up on a hotel in Broomfield, but when they went up in the lift to start the job, they discovered that red tailed hawks had built a nest on the sign. A fledgling hawk stood in the nest as its parents soared and screeched. The crew took a few photos and quickly retreated.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife rules are in place to protect bird nests from being disturbed in situations like this. We will return after the nesting season when this young hawk has taken to the skies and the nest has been abandoned for the year.

This unique sculpture was created by BSC Custom as a bold signature piece for the entrance to the Sterling Ranch new home community in Douglas County. The design was inspired by the Sterling Ranch logo.

BSC Signs and BSC Custom are OPEN for business! We will continue to design, build, and install signs and custom projects during this difficult time. We're taking special precautions to protect the health and safety of our team members and customers.

To Our Valued Clients,

We wanted to reach out to assure you that BSC Signs is working hard to continue to provide you with the best services possible while dealing with the effects of the COVID-19 emergency on our economy and well-being. We take health and safety very seriously and have implemented several internal/external health and safety measures to help ensure the overall health and safety of our employees, clients, and vendors. BSC Signs will remain open for business, but will be making some changes to our normal operations internally/externally (temporarily) over the next couple of weeks during these extraordinary times.

Below is a quick overview of some of the changes we are making that may affect you:

▪️Sales Inquiries: Our sales staff will stay active to assist you, will be working remotely as much as possible, and will do their best to limit unnecessary site visits and contact. You may still contact our main office @ 303-464-0644 during normal business hours from 8am-4pm (M-F), or you may contact your sales executive directly.

▪️Permitting: We will be submitting permits electronically as much as possible and will be limiting visits to local city and county buildings. Due to some closures of city and county buildings and services, being able to submit or obtain permits will be limited over the next few weeks (please expect delays). However, there are some cities and counties still open for business. Please reach out to our sales staff for more details on current openings and closings.

▪️Manufacturing: At this time we will continue to manufacture as normal, and keep lead times as short as possible. We have not seen many supply chain interruptions or closings.

▪️Installation: We will continue to complete any scheduled installations, and will continue to schedule new installations until further notice. We ask you to please notify us of any sickness or closings so we can schedule and plan accordingly.

BSC Signs has been in business for over 21 years, and we will be here when this is over! We truly appreciate your continued trust, business, and relationship. Thank you again for your understanding during this different and difficult time.

BSC Signs is hosting a Hygiene Drive for local children's charity A Precious Child until February 19. Donations can be dropped off at the BSC Signs office, located at 7245 W. 116th Place in Broomfield. Thank you!

HYGIENE DRIVE — BSC Signs will be collecting hygiene products for local nonprofit organization A Precious Child until February 19. They are in need of the following hygiene products for their clients:
✅ Shampoo and Conditioner
✅ Dental products
✅ Deodorant, Lotion, Soap
✅ Combs and Brushes
✅ Feminine hygiene products
✅ Laundry detergent
✅ ... and more

Our 40 West Arts solar-powered sign project is featured in Signs of the Times Magazine! There are two signs, one at either end of the 40 West Arts Creative District in Lakewood. The challenge was getting power to the signs so they could be illuminated at night, as they are located in the center median. The solution was to use solar cells and batteries.
