School zone speed limit signs like this one do more than display a number. The flashing beacons activate during school hours to alert drivers that children are present and that the speed limit has dropped to 20 mph. Solar powered and automated, they run on a schedule without anyone having to flip a switch. Simple technology that makes a real difference for kids getting to and from school safely.

Not a bad office view. We are working with CDOT on the COTrip program, installing cameras that give travelers a real time look at road and weather conditions across Colorado. Next time you check road conditions before heading into the mountains, there is a good chance our crew helped make that possible. Shout out to our subcontractors for the hard work and support on this one.

Safety is not a one time conversation, it is something we actively invest in as a team. We brought the whole crew together for a company safety meeting and we are grateful for the knowledge our partners brought to the table. A temporary signal has been installed at 14th and Bradley. It will not have a left turn for northbound traffic.
The traffic signal pole was destroyed in a vehicle accident, and it will take 13-17 weeks for the replacement. Thanks Traffic Engineering for the quick response and eliminating the temporary four way stop.

High winds do not wait for business hours and neither do we. Here we are responding to a downed highway sign and getting it back up where it belongs. Sign installation and maintenance is one of the many services we provide, from scheduled replacements to storm damage response.

Fun Fact! The first electric traffic signal was installed in Cleveland, Ohio in 1914. Over 100 years later, signals now use advanced detection systems, emergency vehicle preemption, and coordinated timing to manage traffic flow and keep people safe. The technology has changed. The goal has not.
