Back to school season is here, and for a lot of families, it’s also the moment they realize they need to make a move. 🏡

Maybe the commute to school is longer than it should be. Maybe you’re in a district that doesn’t feel right for your kids anymore. Or maybe you’ve been putting off the conversation about upsizing because life just kept moving.

Here’s what I tell every parent who reaches out this time of year:

Don’t just look at the school rating. Visit the building. Talk to people in the neighborhood. The right district for your family isn’t always the one with the highest score online.

Know the boundary lines before you fall in love with a house. Two streets apart can mean two completely different districts. I know where those lines fall across Jackson, Lenawee, and Hillsdale counties, and I’ll make sure you do too.

The Irish Hills Eagles are celebrating fifty years today with their Eagle Fest, and honestly, fifty years is worth a moment of respect. This community has a way of holding onto the things that matter. I've been building and selling homes here for a long time myself, and I never get tired of how much history is still living and breathing in this area. Congratulations to the Eagles on the milestone.

A big thank you to Napoleon Lawn & Leisure for getting my lawn mower back in service during this rainy August! 🌧️🌱

With all this rain, the grass seems to grow faster than I can mow it. At this rate, I have been needing to mow twice a week!
