This flower-covered skyscraper could someday add a splash of colour to New York.

Studio Vural has conceived Lilly Tower to help us radically rethink what a skyscraper can be. The tower has done away with conventional heating and cooling. Instead, it will rely on a geo-thermal system and the natural insulation provided by the plants running down the sides of the building.

This daring, vertical garden would get its water from the rain, which would be stored in an underground tank before being circulated to the plants.

BUSHWICK DEVELOPMENT: Our Park Slope condo development, Homage on 3rd, recently sold out for a record $1800/sf. Building on that success, we've begun work on our latest condo project on Evergreen Avenue in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

The TSUNAMI: A rubbernecking experience.
