In honor of the 4th of July, we share a home we designed for two retired military officers. She’s a local who grew up on a family ranch here. What can you design to sit on an existing rectangular manufactured home foundation? In this case we decided to lean into the geometry and make something really pure. The materials, glazing, structure, and rhythm make a simple shape shine like a gem!

We love it when people have the vision to reinvent old homes! This home has journeyed well as a vessel sitting on the seashore. It has held the memories of several families and multiple generations. This reinvention will launch it into the future allowing it to be the place where a new family lives, loves, and makes memories together.

Good things come to those who wait! We designed this home three years ago for a local contractor. He was too busy to build it and sold the property and design. This beauty should be rising from the ground soon!

This beautiful home will soon break ground in our community. Designed as a last home for a wonderful couple, and a place for their kids and grandkids to visit and make many wonderful memories! We can’t wait to see it built. What a contribution it will be to its neighborhood.

Incredible entry cover for a modern makeover of a very old beach house. Our team had fun designing this! Shout outs to Vector Structural Engineers and Lance Kessler Construction for bringing this design to life—no beautiful architecture comes into being without many skills!

More sneak peaks to come…

I can never tell what kind of taste a person has when I meet them. I remember the first day I met this very sweet, humble, retired couple on Magnolia Ct to look at their lot. Never ever would I have guessed “modern Scandinavian” style. This project was a joy to put together and I am so glad it turned out beautifully! We hope it provides many happy years.
