Teaching and research laboratories include: circuits, rf/wireless, robotics, reverse engineering, microprocessors/electronics, computational biology, enterprise security, digital, and software design. Centrally located departmental offices keep researchers in close proximity to the labs.

Remodeling the sludge handling facility for a city waste water treatment plant. The plant will remain online during the renovation.

The new plant produces steam and chilled water for heating and cooling the campus, serving 10 million SF – the equivalent to heating and cooling about 9,000 homes. The facility is integrated into the educational curriculum as the facility includes an 80-person classroom for interdisciplinary teaching, an observation deck to view the boiler, chiller floors and display screens showing settings from the control room.
