🔥 A Quick HVAC Reminder for Our Neighbors After the Recent Gas Fire in Glenpool

With the recent gas fire close to our neighborhoods, many of us have been thinking about the impact it may have had on the air we’re breathing — but something that can easily be overlooked is your HVAC system.

Smoke, soot, ash, and other airborne particles can be pulled into your outdoor A/C unit and can also put additional strain on your home’s filtration system. Heavy buildup on an outdoor condenser coil can restrict airflow, reduce efficiency, and make your system work harder than it should.

A few things we recommend checking:

• Check your indoor air filter and replace it if it looks unusually dirty or discolored.
• Take a look at your outdoor unit for visible soot, ash, or debris buildup.
• If you notice unusual smells inside your home, reduced airflow, or your system running longer than normal, it may be worth having it inspected.
• Consider having your outdoor condenser coil professionally cleaned if it was exposed to significant smoke or debris.
