Dead ash trees are more dangerous than many homeowners realize.

Most ash trees die within just a few years after being attacked by the Emerald Ash Borer. Once they die, the wood becomes extremely brittle and can drop large limbs without warning.

The longer a dead ash tree stands, the more unpredictable it becomes — especially during storms.

If you have a dead or declining ash tree on your property, it’s best to have it evaluated sooner rather than later.
