Do you need an Accessory Dwelling Unit? I am a licensed Builder and I designed this beautiful little 400 square foot Accessory Dwelling Unit for a Potential customer in Brockton. These ADU can be no bigger than 900 SQ FT or 50% the size of the existing home, whichever is less. These people had a 800 SQ FT Ranch with a decent lot size but a tiny home so the design was restricted to 400 SQ FT. You actually don't need a lot space if it is design correctly.
