Last week. I finished framing this house in Broadway for a customer who is contracting his own house. It was borderline nuts of me to take this on as my company is now configured--mostly just me and "Calvin," my CAT telehandler. But I also feel proud of getting it done and doing it right.
The exterior walls of the house are ICF (insulated concrete forms) by Rock town ICF/Hostetter Custom Homes.

I am alerted that this page gets viewed, but it's been more than two years since I've posted anything! Abiding Place Construction has been through some changes. I am now back to being the only full time employee (through a combination of burnout and providence). After a 3 month sabbatical from construction, my projects have included a new custom house, a major remodel, solo framing a detached garage. I get to do things like having my wife help me, stepping in to help Our Community Place finish two apartments, and smaller projects for friends and neighbors. I'll share some pictures.
