We continue our team spotlight with our Foreman, Andrii Popovych. A native of Vinnytsia, Ukraine, Andrii graduated from Higher Vocational Art & Technical School # 5 in 2001, with a diploma in Painting & Finishing Trades.

Andrii then spent over 20 years in the construction industry in Ukraine and other parts of Europe gaining extensive, hands-on experience in painting, finishes such as Italian plasters, stucco and renovation work.

In 2024, Andrii and his family moved to the United States in search of better opportunities and a brighter future. He began working with Rochester Painting Company that same year, where he continues to hone his substantial skillset on both residential and commercial projects.

Andrii is a devoted husband and father to his wife, Svetlana, and their 5 wonderful children. He is passionate about delivering high-quality work and helping clients bring their vision to life. His character and work ethic set a great standard for his team, which he leads by example.

You will typically find Andrii to be the first up the ladder, solving problems and improving his English language skills. His English may be a work in progress, but his work speaks volumes!

This window replacement required that part of the stucco wall be torn out. After PWD Home did a great job with the window replacement, we patched and re-stuccoed the area to match the rest of the house.

Before and After of our latest project in Waynesboro! This 1800s farmhouse was about 10 years overdue for a paint job and was in really bad need of a reset. Thank you to Benjamin Moore - Shenandoah Paint for keeping our teams supplied with great quality paint and to Millpond Photography for the great pictures. The results are stunning! Today, we are continuing our employee spotlight by introducing you to Angela Rochester. Angela grew up in Colonial Heights, VA, in a contractor's home. Her father, Jerry, built houses for much of his career and now owns and operates Quality First Glass, a glass installation company. Angela met Isaac at her church when he and his family band were there singing, and they married in 2016. Angela began traveling in the band as well, and in 2019, they welcomed their daughter, Chloe. In 2023, they were shocked when Chloe was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at the age of 3. Angela spent the next 18 months tenaciously fighting alongside and faithfully caring for Chloe until she passed away in August of 2024. Isaac praised Angela saying, "She is the most selfless person I know. She is the best wife and mother a man could ever wish for."

Angela is a woman of many talents. She sings and plays the piano and bass guitar. She has a diploma in Culinary Arts and has a small side business as a baker, cake decorator and occasional caterer.

She has two roles in the company - first as Secretary, but primarily as Interior Decorator. She is fantastic at offering fresh and creative ideas while staying within the framework of our client's personal preferences. She focuses on building strong relationships with her clients and communicating well with the contractor teams to make the process seamless, productive and cost-effective. Being the wife and daughter of contractors really grounds her perspective on projects, and she has a good understanding of how to blend creativity with the construction realities of each unique project.

Angela loves to bake, read, play pickleball and care for her flock of laying hens on her and Isaac's farm.
