I just want to take a minute to thank some people and recognize some people in the community yesterday we dug out the bantams baseball field on first Avenue in the village the only field that has been 100% neglected for years with no attention to it. I made a decision that it is unacceptable and these kids deserve better. I canceled the jobs that we had took. my crew called in some help we dug out the base lines put a new road grade fabric, and an infield mix. I wish we had more than one day to get this job done as there is so much more attention needed however, on such a short notice and only one day to do the job. I am extremely happy with the outcome and even happier that the kids of the community have a halfway decent field to play on now with that said I want to thank Bradley Reed trucking for providing and trucking in material. I want to thank Lorenzo at the high school for providing us with new basis tanner lumber for providing buckets and concrete to install the bases JDL property maintenance for coming down with their tractor and labor and I want to thank my own guys because even though we had eight hours and I told them hey you guys can go home. They stuck it out for another five hours and helped get the job done
