As many of you may be aware, Ernest Jess had a fall yesterday, 6/5/25. The incident occurred when he stepped onto a ladder, which slipped, causing him to fall 15 feet. Unfortunately, his coworker, William, sustained a broken wrist during the incident. Ernest's injuries include a concussion, a fractured L1 vertebra, multiple fractured vertebrae, and a fractured neck. He is currently undergoing treatment in the ICU at Southbend Memorial. His surgery was successful, and he now has two nine-inch rods implanted in his back. Although the recovery process will be lengthy, a full recovery is anticipated. We are grateful for the prayers and messages. Several have inquired about visiting. We kindly request that visitors be limited to immediate family until he is transferred out of ICU. Visitation will remain limited until after Sunday. Given the lengthy recovery ahead, Ernest will have plenty of time for visitors in the future. Thank you. 🙏
