Fall protection has been OSHA's most cited violation for 14 consecutive years.

Ladders ranked third in FY2024. These aren't obscure standards — every facilities manager knows them. The problem is most rooftops still don't have the infrastructure to make compliance practical.

When did someone last report a near miss to you from a roof access event?

If you can't remember one, that's not a sign your roof is safe. It means the base of your safety pyramid is empty and the hazards are there, they're just not being captured.

In 2023, portable ladders were the primary source of 109 construction fatalities in the US. Those deaths came out of thousands of prior jobs that looked fine because nothing went wrong that day.
