todays ask the plumber: in the last year ive installed about a dozen of these for my customers.. they seem to be the latest craze for homeowners who worry about flooded homes.. this device will automatically shut of your water if it detects an open flow.. saving your home from extensive damage. yes its expensive and likely needs to be installed by a plumber. my customers tell me they receive a discount from their insurance companies for having one pro installed.. the device can be controlled and monitored from your smart phone or device. order one and reach out to me if you want me to install it for you . the link contains a 3/4 device which is most common in most homes but they do make a 1 inch size as well as 1.25 inch..works on wells or city water .

ive had a lot of customers and friends over the years ask me about sump pump alarms.. something that notifies you on your smartphone if your sump pump fails and the water level gets too high.. early detection can prevent basement floods.. until recently when i hooked one of these up for a homeowner i never had a recommendation because i didnt trust some of the units on the market.. this amazon unit was easy to install and works great . i will be stocking these on my truck for my customers but some of my friends and family may want to pick one up to protect your basements.. almost anyone can figure out the install.. its super easy ..
