This incredible Mt. Lebanon project featured a two-story addition that completely transformed the way this family lives!!

The addition included:

✨ A spacious new kitchen on the main level
✨ A beautiful primary suite upstairs with a bedroom, walk-in closet, and private bathroom

One of our favorite details? We built and finished the new kitchen first, allowing the homeowners to move into it before we ever touched their existing kitchen. That meant they never had to live without a functioning kitchen during the renovation!

Once they were comfortably settled into their new space, we transformed the original kitchen into a practical mudroom and powder room… giving them even more functionality without disrupting their daily lives. Thoughtful planning makes all the difference!

3 things every contractor wishes homeowners knew before a home remodel: 👇

1️⃣ Permits protect you – We know permits can feel like just another expense or delay, but they’re actually there to protect you. Proper permits help ensure your renovation is completed safely, meets building codes, and won’t create headaches if you decide to sell your home down the road. We take care of the permitting process so you don’t have to stress about it.

2️⃣ Moving plumbing is always complex (but often worth it in the end!!) – On TV, it seems as simple as moving a sink or relocating an island. In reality, plumbing lines, drains, vents, and structural considerations all have to work together. While it can add cost and complexity, relocating plumbing is often what transforms a layout from “good enough” into a space that truly functions for your family.
