Sometimes, adding a darker tile to a dark countertop can actually work as long as you keep the grout on the lighter side. Pro tip: avoid dark-colored grout on natural stone, as it can cause hazing around the edges of the stone, even if you seal it prior to grouting, which you always should.

Some people just need some blue and gold in their life! Thank you to Express Granite for always cutting our slabs on time. Installing the slabs first really makes the tile installation go much smoother. I really prefer doing solid surface on niche and window returns over all other options. Bringing it out flush with the tile eliminates the need for edging or miter cuts. It also ties in the bench and curb into the the rest of the shower.
