Anchor Pools Inc. Anchor is a licensed and insured company that is dedicated to bringing the highest level of pool and spa service to homes on Long Island's east end.

Anchor Pools began offering its services in 2014, and started out of a small shed in Hampton Bays, NY. We are now located in a 1,000 sq ft. building in Riverhead, NY. Owning a pool or spa is supposed to be fun for you, your family and your friends, and our mission at Anchor Pools is to provide the most thorough pool and spa service and maintenance year-round to ensure your experience is fun and worry-free. By equipping our technicians with the latest technology, education, and industry certifications, we bring our clients the best service and maintenance available on Long Island today. Trust in us to provide timely service and communication, along with overall peace of mind that you’ll always have beautiful, clean, and comfortable water to enjoy.

Booo. It's our least favorite time of year: pool closing time. But don't worry –– you keep your summertime memories and we take care of the rest. We do a final skim and vacuum, balance water chemistry, lower water levels, and drain and blow out the lines. We check equipment and, finally, put the cover on. Teamwork makes the dream work here, and we even have fun while we're doing it(!).

We're officially into September, which can only mean one thing: the true start of the school year. While our work continues on our clients' pools, we wanted to share this quick story with you. “New liner, who dis?” Pool liners on Long Island deal with a lot –– the sun, the water’s chemistry, cold winters without your love and attention… 💔

This pool liner had a nasty tear that we patched last year, but the winter just wasn’t kind to it. The patch ultimately failed, the lining shrunk, and they lost water. It was time for a new one, and we installed a new vinyl liner in May before the summer swimming season. We also upgraded the pool to a salt system, and a new cover is on the way for wintertime.

The industry recommends a new liner every 10 years, and we monitor our clients’ pools continually throughout the season.

We’ve been servicing this pool consistently since the earliest part of this decade (read: 2020). That’s a lot of weekly visits, covering season changes, heatwaves, a global pandemic, and a whole lot of backyard memories made along the way.
