Anchor Pools began offering its services in 2014, and started out of a small shed in Hampton Bays, NY. We are now located in a 1,000 sq ft. building in Riverhead, NY. “New liner, who dis?” Pool liners on Long Island deal with a lot –– the sun, the water’s chemistry, cold winters without your love and attention… 💔

This pool liner had a nasty tear that we patched last year, but the winter just wasn’t kind to it. The patch ultimately failed, the lining shrunk, and they lost water. It was time for a new one, and we installed a new vinyl liner in May before the summer swimming season. We also upgraded the pool to a salt system, and a new cover is on the way for wintertime.

The industry recommends a new liner every 10 years, and we monitor our clients’ pools continually throughout the season.

We’ve been servicing this pool consistently since the earliest part of this decade (read: 2020). That’s a lot of weekly visits, covering season changes, heatwaves, a global pandemic, and a whole lot of backyard memories made along the way.

When this new client called us earlier this summer, her pool didn’t match the rest of her beautiful property. The liner needed to be replaced and the coping (the edging around the pool) needed more than a quick fix. Our team replaced the liner, rebuilt the coping, and restored the surrounding details, turning a problem area into a focal point. Her pool's footprint? Back in June we visited this property every day for 28 days to properly start up a new finish to the National Plasterers Council’s standards. The pool “graduated” in time for July 4th, and we’re sure this pool and family has seen lots of fun and action since. We come back every week for regular service to keep the fun rollin’ all summer long.

We do a lot for our clients during our weekly service calls.

How much, you ask? We empty skimmer baskets, brush the tile, skim the surface, test-fire the heater, test the water... basically everything that keeps the pool up to s***f so you can enjoy it, and stuff. Oh, and we text you regular updates so you see what's being done and when it's done. You choose the package that works best for you and your schedule and we show up every week.
