We get a lot of questions about how to run electrical in the ICF walls. It's pretty simple! We use an electric chainsaw to route out where the wires go and boxes can be tapcon'd in or screw to webs (my electricians prefer to tapcon them in).

Set trusses on our little ICF house build today and got started on the sheathing. We are using 3/4 T&G for the sheathing to ensure maximum strength.
Also excited to share initial renderings for another cozy sized ICF home we will be starting this summer for a client. Loving the outdoor living on this new one!

Framing is done, the decking is coming together, and the trades are moving through.
Those white walls are reinforced concrete locked inside continuous insulation — not wood, not OSB. Fire resistant, storm resistant, and built to last generations. This family's getting a home that'll stand long after the trees around it are gone.
Current phase: rough electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Windows and exterior doors arrive Monday!
