Celebrating 15 years of a Brentwood landmark!
The Brentwood Gateway Arch has been welcoming residents and visitors to Downtown Brentwood for 15 years, and we’re proud that SDG Architects was part of bringing this meaningful piece of our community to life. Designed by SDG Principal Architect Lance Crannell, the Gateway Arch was created to reflect Brentwood’s unique story, from the eastern plains and rolling Vasco Hills to the agricultural history that continues to shape our community. We’re grateful to the City of Brentwood and everyone who helped make this landmark a lasting part of our city. Here’s to 15 years, and many more!

A perfect way to wrap up summer! Our SDG team came together for a relaxing day at the beach, enjoying great weather, good company, and plenty of delicious paella thanks to The Paella Experience. It was a day to step away from the office, soak up some sunshine, share a meal, and celebrate the people who make SDG such a great place to be. Here’s to good food, great memories, and an even better team!

As their internships come to an end, we’re taking a moment to celebrate our amazing interns and everything they’ve contributed to SDG Architects! They wrapped up their experience with project presentations, sharing their ideas, creativity, and everything they’ve learned along the way to the entire staff. We’re proud of the work they’ve done and grateful to have had them as part of the team.

A hard hat. A walk through the office. A pocket full of cash.
It's all part of a long-standing SDG tradition! After their first week, our newest team members put on a hard hat and make the rounds through the office collecting money and interacting with other staff members. At the end of the day, we all get together to enjoy a drink, share a few laughs, and officially welcome them to the team. This tradition has been part of SDG for many years, and one we hope never goes away. Here's to our newest team members and to keeping great traditions alive. Cheers! 🍻

We’re proud to announce an exciting new chapter in leadership at SDG Architects.

After decades of dedication and leadership within our firm, Jeff Potts has been promoted to President, and Jonathan Clark has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer. Their longstanding commitment, experience, and steady leadership have helped shape SDG into the company it is today.

While these new roles mark an important milestone, one thing remains unchanged, the foundation, values, and vision that define SDG. With continued leadership from Ralph Strauss as the CEO, SDG remains committed to the same collaborative culture, trusted relationships, and design excellence our clients and partners have come to expect. As we look ahead, we’re excited to continue building that strong foundation together.
