This outdoor living project has been years in the making.
After losing the only shade tree in their backyard, these homeowners decided it was finally time to cover their outdoor kitchen and patio area.

With the design now in place, our team is bringing it to life. The main beams are set, structural connections are going in, and the new covered space is taking shape.

This past weekend we had the pleasure of being part of a great day out in the Yakima community! ❤️

Joyce Construction was honored to support Consistent Care Support Services Yakima Back-to-School event, helping provide school supplies to more than 200 local kids as they get ready for the new school year. 🎒📚

This custom concrete pump house was ready for a full exterior rebuild.

We removed the deteriorated materials, rebuilt the curved wall and roof framing, added new insulation and sheathing, installed new siding and trim, and finished it with a custom low-slope TPO roofing system.

The result is a clean, weather-tight enclosure built to protect the equipment inside for years to come.

Work in progress on Bainbridge Island.🔨

This addition is really starting to take shape. New wall framing is up, the roof structure and trusses are going in, and you can finally start to see the footprint and rooflines come together.

There’s still plenty of work ahead, but this is one of those stages where the transformation starts becoming real.

More progress to come as we get this one dried in and move into the next phase.

Goodbye rot, hello durability! 👋
Wood siding can look great—until moisture starts to take its toll. For this project, we replaced old cedar shake that was failing with James Hardie shingle siding for a timeless look that stands up to the elements.
