Two huge announcements for July. 🏗️

First — we're kicking off a full church demolition. Asbestos abatement, structural demo, massive concrete removal, and a completely build-ready site when we're done. And the best part? We're also the contractor for the school being built in its place. Start to finish. That's the Hive way.

Second — Hive Contracting Group has been selected by Tanger Outlets Branson to design and build a sensory room. This one hits close to home. I have firsthand experience with sensory needs, and I know how much a well-designed space can change someone's day — especially for families navigating busy, loud environments like a shopping center.

We just moved some operations to Branson in October, and getting to take on a project like this in our own second community is something I don't take lightly. Our signs will be up at Tanger, and we couldn't be more proud. 💪

20+ years in this industry. Every project, every scope. And every time I complete work, I get the pride of the respect, the trust, the relationships that matter. This 540-foot Simtek fence for EarlystART KC is exactly why I started Hive. A nonprofit serving vulnerable kids in a dangerous neighborhood needed the right solution. Not just any solution. The right one. Their backyard was a disaster. Chain link fence. Underground debris. Nowhere safe for children to play. We could've installed a wood fence. High maintenance. Easy to vandalize. Instead, we recommended Simtek. 98% soundproof. Graffiti-resistant. Zero maintenance. The project was hard. We excavated debris and roots. We poured LOTS of extra concrete. We problem-solved. We delivered. And now kids have a safe yard. This is the Hive Model. Assembling the best people for each challenge. Listening to what clients actually need. Delivering solutions that last. Building relationships based on trust, not transactions. I'm grateful for every project that reminds me why I do this work.

We just completed a 540-foot Simtek privacy fence for EarlystART KC, a nonprofit serving vulnerable kids in Kansas City. Their backyard was exposed with a chain link fence in a dangerous neighborhood. There was debris underground. It didn't feel like a backyard where they could relax and feel like they actually had a place that reminded them of a traditional home. That's why we chose Simtek—to give them a safe feeling of home, like a real backyard. Instead of a high-maintenance wood fence that would've been easy to vandalize, Simtek delivers: 98% soundproof, graffiti-resistant, zero maintenance. The project was challenging—we had to excavate underground debris and roots along a retaining wall. But we solved it. And now kids have a safe yard. That's the work we do at Hive.
