One of this week’s smaller projects is complete.

We opened the garage wall to modify the plumbing, installed a new utility sink, then closed everything back up with new drywall, matching texture, and paint so it looks like it was always there. We also installed a new pull-down attic ladder, making the attic much easier and safer to access.

Not every project is a full remodel. Sometimes it’s the functional improvements that make everyday life just a little easier.

A practical upgrade with a noticeable difference.

These exterior doors were replaced with new impact-rated door systems designed to provide enhanced hurricane protection while improving the appearance and functionality of the home.

The updated doors bring in more natural light, offer a cleaner and more modern look, and provide the added durability expected from products approved for Florida’s demanding weather conditions.

Recently completed bathroom update in Lithia, Florida.

This project focused on improving both the function and finish of the space while keeping several homeowner-requested details in place. The existing countertop was reused by request and paired with new vanity cabinetry, including a taller linen cabinet for added storage.

Additional updates included recessed vanity mirrors for improved storage, updated lighting and plumbing fixtures, large-format tile flooring in place of the existing LVP, and a tiled tub surround with a recessed niche. The rear exterior door was also replaced with a 1/2-lite door featuring internal mini blinds and a pet door.

A quieter, higher-CFM DC motor exhaust fan with condensation sensing was also installed to improve ventilation.

Before and after on this patio slider replacement.

The original doors had seen better days. I they were impossible to open. So we replaced them with hurricane-rated, commercial-style sliding glass doors built for Florida weather.

This upgrade gives the home:

- A cleaner, brighter look
- A stronger exterior opening
- Improved storm protection
- A smoother operating door system
- A more finished patio appearance

This project started with oversized built-ins that made the space feel heavy and closed in. We demo’d everything back to the studs to open the wall up and give the room a cleaner, more modern layout.

Sometimes the best upgrade isn’t adding more… it’s taking the right things away.

We’ll be finishing this out so it blends seamlessly with the existing wall and gives the homeowner a fresh slate to work with.
