Another sewer line saved without digging in Westerly, Rhode Island!

This property had cast-iron piping passing through the foundation before transitioning to 6-inch clay all the way to the city-owned piping in the road. The clay was packed with roots at multiple joints, causing constant backups and headaches. One joint was so badly deteriorated that sections of clay were completely missing, and we could see the root growth surrounding the pipe.

Excavation would have meant tearing apart a shared driveway while working around a water and gas service located in the same trench. Instead, we cleaned and prepared the existing line, then installed a seamless CIPP liner through the cast iron and clay piping.

No digging. No destroyed driveway. No unnecessary mess. Just a strong, continuous pipe built inside the existing sewer line.

CIPP stands for Cured-In-Place Pipe—a trenchless rehabilitation process where a resin-saturated liner is installed inside the existing damaged pipe and cured in place. Once hardened, it creates a strong, seamless new pipe within the old one.

This allows us to repair cracks, leaks, root intrusion and deteriorated piping with little to no excavation.
