Permitting timelines can vary significantly depending on the project and location. 📋

For many dock, boat lift, and seawall projects in Manatee County, permitting can average around 4–6 weeks. But projects involving mangroves or additional environmental approvals can take much longer, sometimes 6 months to 2 years or more.

That’s why having an experienced permitting team matters. Mariner handles the permitting process in-house and has the resources to work through requests from the different agencies involved.

When a seawall starts failing, the damage can go far beyond the wall itself. 🌊

During an inspection, our team discovered that this waterfront property’s existing wall was failing after the homeowner noticed low areas in the pavers behind it.

Built-up hydrostatic pressure from a previous hurricane had caused the concrete panels to start kicking out, putting the property, pool, and home at risk.

After a thorough evaluation, the homeowner trusted our recommendation to replace the entire wall. Despite the challenging conditions and heavy materials, our team completed the project in about five weeks.
