Hotel Polaris was built to make an impression from the moment guests walk through the doors, and the finishes throughout the property played a big part in bringing that vision to life.

Our Raleigh and Wilmington teams got together at Raleigh Game Show for our Q3 Team Building Event! 🪩

After lunch, the teams jumped into a lineup of game show-style challenges inspired by classics like Family Feud and Jeopardy! It made for a fun afternoon, gave everyone a chance to switch gears for a bit, and brought some great energy into the day.

We always enjoy opportunities to get our teams together outside of the normal routine. Thanks to everyone who came out, participated, and made the afternoon a good one!

Our Boise team closed out the summer with an employee appreciation event at Topgolf, bringing employees, friends, and family together for an evening of food, games, a raffle, and some well-earned time to connect outside of work.

Making the event even more special, Boise Topgolf is a project our team had the opportunity to help bring to life, making it a fitting place to celebrate the people behind the work.

After three packed days in downtown Wilmington last week, National Coatings is still riding the momentum from the 74th Annual NCHEA Conference! 🏥

Hundreds of professionals from across North Carolina’s healthcare industry came together at the Wilmington Convention Center for three days of education, networking, exhibits, receptions, and conversations centered around the people and companies supporting healthcare facilities across the state.

Healthcare has long been an important part of what we do at National Coatings, with hospitals and healthcare facilities making up some of the most significant projects in our portfolio. We were especially proud to represent our trade as the only painting contractor exhibiting at this year’s conference, while also supporting the event as a Bronze Sponsor.

From conversations at our booth to receptions and social events throughout downtown Wilmington, our team had plenty of opportunities to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new industry partners, and strengthen relationships within the healthcare community.

Thank you to NCHEA – North Carolina Healthcare Engineers Association, everyone who stopped by our booth, and everyone we had the opportunity to connect with throughout the week. It was a great three days, and we’re proud to continue growing our presence within North Carolina’s healthcare industry!

July’s Field Employee of the Month recognition goes to Kevin Gillson! 🦺

Kevin has successfully led several US Bank projects throughout the Boise area, frequently overseeing multiple locations at once. Through careful manpower coordination, clear communication with jobsite superintendents, and thoughtful scheduling around other trades, he has kept each project moving smoothly.

His ability to operate independently, anticipate project needs, and consistently deliver quality work with minimal touch-up demonstrates the reliability and initiative he brings to the field. Congratulations to Kevin on this well-earned accomplishment!

Hector Burciaga has been named National Coating's July Admin of the Month! 👏

Over the past several weeks, Hector has made significant strides in his role as Project Manager, improving his follow-through, communication, and attention to project details. He has worked diligently to close out CoreSite properly, stay ahead of change orders and tickets, and identify opportunities to increase revenue across his projects.

Hector also stepped up during an unexpected transition in the Denver office, taking on additional responsibilities, assisting the administrative team, and approaching each new challenge with a willingness to learn and help wherever needed. His professional growth and commitment to his team make him highly deserving of this recognition.

A change of scenery, nine innings included. ⚾

Employees from our Wilmington and Raleigh offices brought along friends and family for a night out at the Bird Dawgs game in Kinston, NC. Between the baseball, concession stand runs, catching up outside of work, the Ducks Unlimited giveaway, and fireworks at the end of the night, there was plenty for everyone to enjoy.

Thanks to everyone who came out and made Family Night such a good time!
