Few pictures of current projects we are doing, just finishing up.

When we went for our final inspection, I thought it was odd that the inspector ask me to take garage lights off CAFCI and use a GFCI breaker instead? I didn’t really agree, but want to pass inspection so I put in a Dual Function breaker GFCI/AFCI so we both be happy.

We are getting into a new Generation of inspectors and if you don’t know what your doing and why then you in trouble. Ask the inspector questions, ask for code references if inspector has an issues with your work, we pride ourselves on going above and beyond code requirements at Shepherd Electric LLC.

I feel you have to build a relationship with the inspector’s as there is no way they can inspect jobs Thoroughly with 30 inspections on their list for the day.

Do the work to code and to your best of your abilities, because at the end of the day Inspection or not it’s on us as Electrical Contractor’s to make sure codes Requirements are meant and everything working as it should.

Journeyman’s license not required, but having it would be a plus, along with increase of pay.

If you have been working in field but haven’t been able to take your test we completely understand and have Journeyman’s/Master’s prep training course, we have bought and willing to share with anyone looking to better themselves in the trade. Again we want our employees to succeed and grow with company. We want to pay our employees well, we are a smaller company at the moment by choice, at this time.
Due to the fact that we are extremely picky with our hiring process and we go out of our way to make sure all new hires not only offer the highest level of service, but as well enjoy working with our current team of outstanding technicians.
