We’re succession planting 🌽

Beginning mid May I started planting corn in blocks of 12 then each weekend for the next month I planted a new block of 12 so we will have a steady harvest of corn all summer long. Yesterday I finished up my corn rows by planting my last 40 seeds so hopefully we’ll be able to have some to save for winter also! 🤞🏻

Raspberries are coming in hot ☄️

I planted this bush last year and we have a huge wild black raspberry patch outback and all along our trails that are still working on fruiting.

Before vacation I dried out some sage and chamomile, now it’s time to do something with it!

Nothing fancy, just shove your dried herbs into a jar and cover with jojoba oil and then store in a dark / cool place for a few weeks. Once infused strain and put in a spray bottle or a bottle with a dropper. Easy peasy!

Sage and chamomile infused jojoba oil is a gentle, multi-purpose blend that nourishes, soothes, and balances the skin. Jojoba oil deeply moisturizes without clogging pores and helps regulate natural oil production. Chamomile calms redness and irritation, while sage helps clarify and tone the skin.

-Facial moisturizer / facial oil
-Beard oil / hair oil
-Scalp treatment
-Body moisturizer
-Cuticle oil
-Sooth sunburn / irritated skin
-Massage oil

I got antsy and pulled some garlic bulbs to see where they are at 🤪 I still have about 30 in the ground, I just need to find a spot to hang the rest to dry when it’s time 😅😅

I ordered the original garlic bulbs that I split and planted on Etsy from Wild Garlic Farm and planted them October 22nd 2025.

4 varieties of hardneck garlic
- Music
- Romanian red
- German extra hardy
- Purple glazer

I’m excited to pull the rest then update and compare my phone notes to my garden notebook to see which variety did the best.

I’ll save the best looking bulbs to replant this coming fall 🧄

Nothing like some homemade cookies 🍪

I love using my vanilla sugar in these and a pinch of cinnamon 🤤

I usually bake a sheet full of cookies then roll out the rest of the cookie dough and flash freeze them and then store in a ziplock bag in the freezer for quick cookies whenever I want 😉
