Happy Saturday, Box Elder! 🦅☕
We just wrapped up the steel structure for the new Eagle’s Repair facility. The owners are currently our neighbors and it’s been great working side-by-side with them to get their new shop off the ground.
They have some final touches to make on the inside prior to their grand opening, but they'll soon have the perfect space to tackle any mechanical challenge that can fit through those doors!
Congratulations to the Eagle’s Repair team on the major upgrade, and have a safe weekend, everyone! 🛠️🏢

Seeing the layout transition from paper to the actual site is always a great feeling. The earthwork and site prep for the new Fire Station #9 are well underway, and the foundation for this project is looking rock solid.

We originally set out to be paleontologists. 🦖 But after we got the hole dug and didn't find any fossils, we decided to just build Rapid City a new Fire Station, Police Department, and park instead! 🚒👮‍♂️🌳 We had to grow up, but at least we still get to play in the dirt with giant machines. Earthwork is officially underway!

We’ve been quiet for the last three weeks about this project, but we promise it’s only because we’ve been up to our hard hats in progress! 🚧👷‍♂️

The Western Dakota Tech Radlab upgrade is moving fast. The first week of August, we were staring at bare concrete floors and unpainted walls. Fast forward to the last week of August, and we’ve got fresh paint on the walls, finished flooring laid down, and all the specialized lab equipment already rolling in and being assembled.

We are proud to be the general contractor in charge of this project! The ground breaking is this afternoon! Every journey starts with the first step and today is step 1!

We’ve had several people ask what the new fire Station, police substation and city park will look like, so we wanted to share a rendering of the project.

The new station will bring fire and police services together in one location near Homestead Street and Neel Street, while the adjacent city park will provide green space, walking paths and recreational opportunities for the growing east side of Rapid City.

Groundbreaking is set for Monday, August 24, at 2 p.m. We’re excited to see this project move from plans on paper to construction and, eventually, a new public safety resource and community space for Rapid City.
