Most apprentices think efficiency comes from moving faster.

It doesn’t.

It comes from not wasting 30 seconds looking for a tape measure 100 times a day.

Put your most-used tools where your hands naturally reach. Keep your tape, pencil, knife, and speed square in the same spot every single day. Balance the weight, eliminate clutter, and stop carrying tools you haven’t touched in a week.
