Historical Survey Record Research & Retrieval

Overview

Did your property get surveyed by Morris C. Foote Jr., LLS?

From 1960 through 2007, Morris surveyed properties throughout Bow and surrounding communities, completing thousands of boundary, subdivision, topographic, and site surveys across Merrimack County and beyond. He began his surveying career in high school working with Harold Fosher, building a foundation that led to nearly five decades of professional experience.

Bow Mills Land Management maintains a collection of historical survey records, field books, plans, deeds, and supporting documents from Morris’s surveying career. Many paper records have been preserved, although some records may no longer be available.

How Historical Records May Help

Research may be useful if you are dealing with:

* Missing property pins or monuments
* Boundary questions
* Neighbor disputes
* Lost survey plans or records
* Property research and title history
* Questions regarding past surveys performed by Morris C. Foote Jr., LLS

Historical records related to your property may be available and could assist you, your attorney, title company, or licensed land surveyor.

Research & Retrieval Rates

* Initial archive search (up to 1 hour): $150
* Additional research time: $75 per hour

Copies of located records provided when available.
