A kitchen transformation that makes a big statement. We redesigned the Canterbury kitchen layout within the existing compact footprint to maximize storage, improve daily function, and strengthen the flow between adjacent spaces. The daffodil Viking range and matching hood bring a confident focal point, balanced by textured white tile, warm alder upper cabinets, green cabinetry, mint green tiles, and brass accents. Material selections and circulation work together to make a compact space feel vibrant, efficient and well-balanced.

We always study a building site to understand the impacts of the sun, wind, topography, neighboring buildings, access, and all the elements that impact a successful design. But when the site also offers views of the Boulder Flatirons, we undeniably find inspiration.

Excited to share photos of a recently completed new home we designed in South Boulder. The home was pushed back on the site to preserve two mature trees in the front yard, while still providing generous outdoor rear living spaces on two levels to take advantage of privacy and Flatiron views. The open plan brings daylight into every space, and tucked-away spaces like a mud room, pantry and powder room bring efficiency and function. The team at BV Builders brought it all together with finishes and high quality construction.
