Catch this house while its unique panel system is still open and visible!
This home under construction near Conifer was built with the Timber Age Modular Building System (T.A.M.B.S.): a panelized Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) approach that bridges off-site manufacturing and traditional construction.
Inside, you'll see how three-inch CLT panels combine with structural I-joists to form assemblies up to 10' x 20'. Each panel leaves the shop as finished as you see on site. The dual-membrane envelope is rated at R-52, with on-site panel assembly happening in under 3 days! The CLT is milled from locally harvested Ponderosa Pine cut by the US Forest Service for necessary fire mitigation in Colorado, sequestering carbon in the structure itself. Paired with the system's airtightness and insulation values, the envelope performs well ahead of current energy code. For anyone curious about what off-site construction or mass timber aesthetics, this stop is a rare chance to see the system mid-assembly.
See this home on Saturday, September 19th from 10AM-4PM!
