🚜 A FEW OPEN DAYS JUST HIT OUR SCHEDULE!

Before we head into the weekend, we wanted to put this out there — we had a couple of schedule changes and now have a few unexpected openings NEXT WEEK before we move on to our next scheduled project.

🌲 CLEARING WITH A PURPOSE 🌲

A little breathing room can make a BIG difference around a mountain property.

This project has us clearing and mulching around an existing cabin — removing trees, brush, dead/down material and heavy vegetation to open up the property and create a cleaner, more manageable space.

New road built from scratch. Jefferson County, Mt

NEW MOUNTAIN ACCESS ROAD 🚜⛰️

There’s a big difference between fixing a road and building one where there wasn’t one before.

This project involved cutting a brand-new access road through heavily wooded, mountainous terrain to provide access to our client’s property. From clearing trees and debris to excavating into the hillside, working through rock, building up low sides, and shaping the road as we progressed — this one has been a true dirt-moving project.

Mountain road construction isn’t just about making a path wide enough to drive on. The grade, drainage, turns, road base, and stability of the downhill edge all have to be considered so the finished road can actually perform.

And sometimes, getting there is half the project. 😉

Road in the making

Almost Friday… but the dirt doesn’t know that. 😏

One thing we’ve learned in excavation: the finished product usually makes the hard part look easy.

A smooth building pad doesn’t show the grading and compaction that went into it.

A new mountain road doesn’t show the rocks, roots, slope, drainage, and material that had to be worked through to get there.

And a cleaned-up property doesn’t show the trees, brush and debris that were standing there before the equipment showed up.

That’s why when you’re comparing excavation estimates, don’t just compare the final number.

Ask what’s actually included:

✔️ Compaction
✔️ Material & trucking
✔️ Clearing and debris handling
